NESTS OF TIME

“ Nests –  fragile pockets of memories and dreams , intricately woven, dissolving and unravelling with time –  form the tapestry of life . “

The body of work  was inspired by a series of photographs taken by the artist, of weaver nests hanging low over water .

Using large canvases , palette knife , oils and mixed media , she emphasizes the abstract and emotional response to the images,  producing paintings that are evocative rather than literal.
